Job summary
Margaret Dabbs London is seeking an exceptional Head of Marketing to lead our growing marketing function. This is a senior, in-house role with full ownership of the team, planning, prioritisation, and performance — setting the standard for everything the department delivers.
You will work closely with the CEO, Commercial Director, Head of Finance and Chief of Staff, shaping brand strategy and driving measurable growth across retail, e-commerce, social, and partnerships. About the position
Your responsibilities and the qualities we're looking for.
- Own the marketing strategy end-to-end — annual planning, budgeting, critical path and performance against agreed KPIs.
- Grow, lead, and develop the marketing team, putting the right processes in place, including Graphics, E-commerce, Social Media, PR, NPD, Clinics and 3rd party web, creative and PR agencies
- Act as the senior creative voice, ensuring brand consistency, quality, and pace across all channels and formats.
- Report directly to the Chief of Staff & CEO, presenting clear plans and results at the senior leadership level.
- Drive brand awareness and equity across all consumer and trade touchpoints.
- Oversee marketing support for retail partnerships, new product development, launches, packaging, events, and travel retail.
- Ensure PR activity is aligned with brand positioning and commercial priorities.
- Collaborate closely with the Commercial Director on go-to-market planning, Distributor and Retail partner co-marketing, and campaign execution.
- Provide strategic oversight of e-commerce and digital performance, working closely with the E-commerce Team on website, TikTok Shop, traffic, and conversion.
- Ensure social media output — led by the Marketing Assistant — has clear creative direction and appropriate sign-off.
- Keep digital channels, content calendars, and brand assets aligned across the full marketing team.
- Own the content approval process — ensuring all output meets brand standards before publication.
- Oversee the marketing budget with rigour, tracking spend and return across all activity.
Our requirements
You will need to meet these requirements to be eligible for the position.
- 5+ years and proven track record in a senior marketing role, ideally within beauty, wellness, luxury, or lifestyle.
- Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in a senior marketing role.
- Experience managing and developing a marketing team across multiple disciplines.
- Strong commercial instinct — you understand how marketing translates to revenue.
- Equally comfortable with brand strategy, campaign execution, and performance metrics.
- Confident working at pace in a founder-led business where priorities can shift quickly.
- Excellent communication skills — you can write, present, and influence at every level.
- A natural eye for creativity combined with the discipline to hold brand standards.
- Experience overseeing digital and e-commerce marketing channels alongside traditional brand activity.
- Strong computer literacy, with an interest in and openness to adopting AI tools to improve marketing efficiency and output.
