An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Front of House Manager to support the Head of Clinics in delivering exceptional client experiences while ensuring smooth daily operations of the clinic. This role will focus, customer service excellence, and driving clinic performance. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front House Manager to join our team. As the Front House Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our reception area, overseeing a team of receptionists, Nail technicians and Podiatrists, and providing high-quality customer service to all visitors, clients, and staff.
About the position
Your responsibilities and the qualities we're looking for.
- Support the Head of Clinics in the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
- Maintain adherence to Margaret Dabbs London protocols and standards for all treatments.
- Effectively manage appointment bookings, including online bookings, confirmation calls, and incoming requests.
- Manage booking system and diary schedules, maximising revenues.
- Conduct daily stock checks, manage orders for retail and professional supplies, and ensure shelves are arranged and replenished.
- Perform daily housekeeping duties, including managing laundry, hoovering, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Process end-of-day cash reconciliations and manage mail orders (specific to Liberty Clinic).
- Deliver exceptional five star customer service by meeting and greeting clients, offering refreshments, and acting as a brand ambassador.
- Ensure client details are obtained and updated upon check-in via the iPad system.
- Upsell appointments and products to enhance average spend and booking frequency.
- Obtain client feedback and encourage Google reviews to enhance the clinic’s online presence.
- Follow protocols ensuring customer complaints are managed in the most professional manner.
- Report to the Head of Clinics and Head of Podiatry any issues that may arise within the clinic that could impact the high standards of service and care that Margaret Dabbs London (MDL) strives to uphold.
- Address staff issues, including lateness and protocol non-compliance, and log incidents as required.
- Manage staffing levels ensuring accurate input of staff rotas to meet business demands, including finding cover during staff absences.
- Drive upselling initiatives to maximise revenue through multiservice bookings.
- Liaise with third parties to explore and develop business opportunities.
- Assist with improving overall clinic performance and executing strategies to expand the company footprint.

- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proven expertise diary management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven mindset.
